We collect minimal data to operate the service:

• Uploaded files: Temporarily stored for conversion, automatically deleted within 5 minutes.
• Converted files: Deleted within 10 seconds of download or 5 minutes if not downloaded.
• Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) retained for 30 days for security purposes.
• Session cookies: Used solely to remember your language preference. No tracking.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• No account registration, no email address
• No payment data
• No behavioral tracking or advertising cookies
• No file content analysis — files are processed automatically and never read by humans

4. File Security

All files are processed on our servers and deleted automatically. Files are never shared with third parties, sold, or used for any purpose other than conversion. Transfers are encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal data. Since we store no account data, there is effectively no personal data associated with your use. For log data deletion requests, contact us at contact@coverters.com.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to store your language preference (EN/FR/ES). This cookie contains no personal information and expires after 1 year. No third-party cookies or tracking pixels are used.
